Designing your bench space

When designing your kitchen there is always so much to consider.  Bench tops can be the wow factor in your kitchen but your bench space also needs to be practical.  Good work space is vital to a functional kitchen.  Food preparation needs room so a workable area near your cook top is always a great idea. A sink can work in an island bench if you like to be social when washing up.  Family and guests tend to gravitate to an island bench so design room for seating and listen to the conversation flow.
